True Story of My Miracle Escape from the Iraqi Prison under Saddam Hussein Christian Persecution in Iraq under Saddam Hussein's regime and how God deliverred His people from death through the hands of the Iraqi government In February of 2003, I was arrested by Saddam Hussein's Iraqi Intelligence Agency with 11 other people for sharing our faith in Jesus Christ. No one has ever escaped or been released from that prison, to my knowledge. We were taken to the Hakimieh Iraqi Intelligence Building in Baghdad, and I was was placed in a cell with a clan of Muslims who were hostile to the message of the Gospel. This is the true story of how God miraculously delivered me from this impossible imprisonment that was meant to be my grave. Instead, Jesus Christ Himself appeared in that prison cell in all His glory with two angels and spoke to the Muslim Sheikh about me. After approximately two-weeks, I was miraculously set free. Less than two months later, the Iraqi government fell when US Armed Forces suddenly invaded Iraq."I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
