"An unusual and thoughtfully detailed perspective... the timing of horror stories and the hazy eerie nature of a nightmare." Kirkus Reviews
***** (5 star) Amazon reviews. "You feel like are there during the investigation. Great book!"... "Fantastic..." "Wow..."
Shortly after Bundy was executed in 1989, George C. Brand, Jr., the lead investigator, and head of the Chi Omega sorority murder task force, gave only one taped interview: It was exclusively for this book.
It took numerous requests before the Leon County Sheriff's Department finally released more than 3600 pages from the psychic files in 2014. Those files confirmed Brand's eerie and haunting version of events that you will not find in any other book or movie about the investigation that led to the capture and execution of Ted Bundy.
'The Secret Psychic Files: The Men Who Caught Ted Bundy' is based on Brand's exclusive taped interview, interviews with the psychic who predicted the murders, two of the task force top investigators, the Hippie Psychic, and the case files.
The Secret Psychic Files reveals the bizarre and frightening story behind the news reports, creatively showing the readers what really happened during the Chi Omega murder investigation. Inside information that may have gotten Bundy acquitted.
