Eihei Dogen
Eihei Dogen Zenji (1200-1253) is thought of as the founder of the Soto school of Zen. At times "The Shobogenzo" was profoundly difficult, and he worked on it his entire life, revising and expanding, and produced a book. "Dogen's Genjo Koan" is the first chapter in that book. This edition of Dogen's book contains three separate translations.
