At first all goes well, but then the boys are separated and each will have to overcome a series of unexpected and nerve-wracking complexities to try and pull off the challenge of playing hooky.

By skipping school, peering into an adult magazine, or dodging the daunting principal, Mr. Desmond, the boys boldly step into the prohibited world of adulthood where adventure means taking risks, and where risks come with consequences.

In the end the boys are reunited in a real hot spot, their fate in the hands of the least trusted of the three.
