First-time author Anna Ruth Santiago is an elementary school teacher and encaustics painter, who was born, raised and educated in the Philippines. She has traveled and worked in different countries and is now living in Mexico. She believes it is a remarkable feeling to write and get lost in aworld that we are so familiar with but haven't the time to explore. Her love of books, meaningful relationships, and the company of children have inspired her writing. In her stories, she brings familiar objects to life and uses natural phenomena to explain how love works in a language that children can understand and adults can appreciate.
