These emigrants settled in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Virginia while some later moved on into Pennsylvania. The reader will discover genealogical data on Huguenot families though out the book from the above-mentioned states. Also, extensive genealogical notices are given in footnotes, with references to sources which serves as a guide to further information. This book should be considered the standard when it comes to Huguenot emigration to the United States.
