Christ in You Dr Douglas G Sullivan

God's holy presence may have eluded you . . . but He truly wants for you to experience his glory.
Christ in You . . . God's Manifest Presence in the World Today offers a comprehensive study of God's interaction with mankind through the ages. Dr. Sullivan's ability to express biblical-theology in creative and insightful ways is refreshing. Doug skillfully traces God's glorious presence through the Bible and shows how our loving Father reveals Himself to ordinary people, impacting their lives, and affecting others around them and even the places where these encounters occur.
He desires that all believers powerfully embrace the holy presence of the Father in a personal and life-changing encounter just as the patriarchs of old experienced. Believers in our post-modern culture must resist contentment with stories and memories of past relationships with God and intentionally press forward into His manifest presence which empowers Christians to make a difference right where God places them . . . in the workplace, marketplace, and communities where we live our lives.
He examines the biblical foundation for developing the necessary understanding of the true incarnational ministry impact of spirit-filled Christians in marketplace outreaches, and he provides hope for believers in the world today by showing that as they develop a true relationship with the LORD, God's revealed glory in them also transforms individuals in their communities. People find the evidence of God's manifest presence in relationships. God connects individually with humans and then impacts His people through these personal interactions.
Understand God's presence as you have never understood it before. Christ in You . . . God's Manifest Presence in the World Today facilitates incarnational transformation in your life as you allow the holy presence of the Father to impact you as the power of the Holy Spirit changes you just like Abraham, Moses, David, Paul, and countless others.
