Bear Sheri Palmer

This story starts during a spring run of severe thunderstorms in the Upstate New York Allegheny Forrest along the Black River area, which bordered my childhood home. Many animals of all kinds would cross our pastureland to get to the river, then back again to the small hills and mountains which they came from. As the rain came down the river swelled and would backup into the flat pastureland. It was very common to see black bears coming and going across our farm. Please enjoy this sad but happy, true story of "Bear"!
