There, politics kept them in darkness, centuries behind the clock of modern times. Strangely, it was there that Mojisola was planted, in a career that took her to their homes and hearts. A decade ago, she lost her first chance at love and motherhood. Now, the pandemic struck, a global lockdown was imposed. She managed the Pandemic Isolation Center and had to make a crucial life and death decision. Does this lead to depression, death or a new path to love? What do we learn of power, corruption, love, death and morality in this short story?
