The scariest person Cat has ever seen is Mr. One-Eyed Scar Face, also known as Mr. Williams, the school janitor. Everyone always said he was some type of monster, and Cat and her friends have always believed it. But soon they begin to realize that not every thing they hear is true. Not even close. As Cat and her friends search for the truth about Mr. Williams, they find themselves surrounded by rumors and gossip. All the while, Cat continues to see visions of truth about the people around her.
