Maggie is a young girl in seventh grade. She has a wonderful family, including two brothers. She has the greatest best friend, Jayla. To her everything is just great until a new girl, Alex arrives. Alex stirs things up between Maggie and Jayla. Behind Jayla's back, Alex and her friends begin to bully Maggie. Through their tough time of trying to fit in with each other, you will see how these girls go from unsure friendships, to understanding that they all have what it takes to be the best of friends. In this book, Lutricia gently shows how a young girl in school can go through being bullied. At the same time, she reveals why this particular girl bullied Maggie and how they were able to overcome their differences. One of Lutricia's desires is to bring awareness to bullying. Bullying affects many people of all ages. For the one that is bullied, they are often hurting, as well behind the bully, they too hold some kind of hurt.
