Charybdis is a small goat with an insatiable appetite who lives on a vineyard in Atella, in ancient Italy. His owner Fabia loves him dearly, but he is always finding his way into trouble in his eternal quest for food. Among his enemies in his quest for food are Marcus, the gullible pig and Bellovesus, the Gallic servant. He finally manages to find his way into the house and near the kitchen, but perhaps he has gotten himself into his final mess this time... This book is part of the "in vineto" Latin novella series.
