A book of amusingly illustrated, lighthearted verse, the result of a lifetime of family amusement. But what was intended to amuse one family might well offer nuggets of entertaintment to any family. You too might identifiy with spending time 'in Ertia' or a life in 'Saga City' or joining the mass exodus of cars to the South of France as "the carful pays the price of passing tolls". Even prince Charles gets a look in as does the dog's advice to George Osborne on quantitive easing. Newly elected members of parliament might - or might not pay heed to the words of wisdom about the Whip's Office. There is a highly suggestive illustration about the twin hulled lady of the lake called Cata-Miranda and a splendidly angry looking duck called Marianne. This book is what it sets out to be a bit of fun.
