Claude is a young man who is a little off. After his mother dies, residents of the tiny town of Delta, Louisiana look out for him. But his impact on the town and its people goes far beyond what anyone could imagine. Explosions, fires, tornados, floods, snakes, and construction fiascos seem to follow him about. He makes daring rescues and has fantastic airplane, bike. and vehicle adventures. He influences the lives of preachers, lawyers, bankers, coaches, business men, and farmers. His story is one of compassion, frustration, joy, laughter and sorrow. That story provides the backdrop for a profound insight into the small southern town and its people.
