John Roseberry Shihan has been training in Judo and Karate since 1955. He served as an alternate to the 1964 U. S. Olympic Judo team, was All-Marine Corps Champion seven times, All-Service Champion three times and was the only American to capture the All-Okinawa Judo Championship. He has been teaching martial arts and self-defense in Lincoln Nebraska since 1969 and now resides in Chester Virginia where he continues to teach and guide his Sho Rei Shobu Kan organization and his students.
