"Astronomical Weather" A decade ago there arose a realization that burning fossil fuels, thus discharging CO2 into the atmosphere, raises earth's temperature. In due course, it is feared, increasing temperatures will expand oceans and melt polar ice caps. Oceans will rise, submerging coastal cities under the seas like ancient Atlantis. Curtailing carbon fuels will cause economic chaos across the world as we have no economic alternative. "Astronomical Weather" informs the reader of the character of this global warming threat; and assesses its validity.
