Marie Nigh was tired of being called "Scarecrow". Sure, she was skinny, but she was a hard worker. When her father suddenly dies, she must take charge of the family farm. The year was 1945. This is the 3rd book in the series called, "The Colonies"; following the 1st book called, "The Colonies: Gunderic" and the 2nd book called, "The Colonies: Architetti." There are 25 colonies in all, and we hope to take you on many more adventures to The Colonies.
