I am Lossie. Very much alive and I have made it! For me to laugh is to live and to live is to laugh. My life has not been all laughter. The paths I have rolled along in my wheelchair have been full of bumps, and some have left scars. But laughter outdid the sorrow for me.

This is my story of how I handled my life to turn from a helpless cripple to become a wife, mother, community and church leader, and a career woman as a newspaper editor. That was forty years ago...
