The Wondrous Cloud Forest Wendra Lynne

The Wondrous Cloud Forest is a gentle and optimistic introduction to Climate Change. This rhyming picture book is about one of Earth's last undisturbed places. Travel to a far away island shrouded in fog to meet exotic rare creatures. An educational and entertaining journey through richly saturated watercolors. You will learn what photosynthesis is and why this vital ecosystem in Papua New Guinea is so critical to the ecology of our planet. You'll understand why people from across the globe are working to protect this enchanting land and all of its endangered species. Painted by adding coffee to watercolors, not only to bring out beautiful warm tones, but to convey that beyond its rich color, coffee is economically relevant to the Forest, as the crop has become an alternative means of income for the local people in lieu of hunting and deforesting. Written and illustrated by award winning artist Wendra Lynne. Inspired by whimsy of The Lorax, and beauty of The Great Kapok Tree this book is an invitation to share your love for nature with all ages.
