Cameroon / Gabon ITM Publications

Cameroun and Gabon are two of the stable, tourist-friendly countries, with easy access from Europe by air. This map has two covers, so can be displayed cover-outwards to focus on each country. Cameroun emerged out of the German colony of Kameroun after WW1 and was jointly administered by Britain and France until the 1960s. An inset of Yaoundé, the capital, is included, as is an inset of Douala, the countrys major port city. The second side concentrates on Gabon, a former French colony that shares a border with Cameroun. This side includes two inset maps one of Libreville, the countrys capital, with the other detailing Bioko Island in Equatorial Guinea. Mainland Equatorial Guinea is also included on the side of the map, at the same scale as Gabon.
