Tao Te Ching is a short text of around 5,000 Chinese characters, but it carries profound meaning and subtle insights, which reveals the secret of everything in the world. In the last few decades, I was invited to deliver lectures on Tao Te Ching in various places, and I have witnessed the profound and far-reaching influence of Lao Tzu's philosophy on the social life of the Chinese people. From personal perspective, this book provides us a guide on how to live a better life, in which its insightful text remains a source of inspiration even after more than two thousand years.
