Three Survivors Joseph Jk

The wild true survival story of a clueless trio in a small crippled sailboat who stumble into the path of a killer hurricane and must find the strength to fight for their lives as they weaken and their boat is pulled apart.

Landlubber Joseph JK, low on funds 3,000 overland miles from home, felt lucky when the woman owner of an old sailboat and her affable boyfriend-captain offered him passage across the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico in exchange for helping them sail back to the States. It was to be a simple four-day voyage across 400 miles of calm blue water in clear weather. But soon he would find himself in the middle of an armed smuggling operation, seduced by the owner and entering a terrifying battle to survive.

When a Norwegian freighter captain, an inexperienced Coast Guard skipper and the seasick crew of a massive Navy warship ultimately approach to rescue them, their boat is further damaged and they face new perils.

This fast-paced memoir is the first-person account of a secret cargo, a murderous growing storm, a sinking sailboat and the white-knuckle human efforts to outlast beautiful and savage forces of nature.

THREE SURVIVORS unfolds with breathtaking twists and turns all the way to the final page.

This is a story that will appeal to readers of John Kretschmer's At the Mercy of the Sea and Holly FitzGerald's Ruthless River.

Praise for Three Survivors from readers: "Tense, suspenseful.""I feel like I'm there with the noises and pitching and anxiety.""Totally infuriating!!!""Touching and real.""Wow, great ending! Magical."
