Nameless Traumear

Our parents give us a name at our birth but do we ever own it? Until we do, we walk around on the earth like orphans, unwilling to believe that the cause of our problems is such a simple and straightforward one. Eventually, if we play our cards right, our true name will surreptitiously slip into place and we will say something like: I have been reborn! Or: I never, until now, realized how wonderful it is to be alive. Until then, our emotions plays us false and our opinions trap us. Owning our name is the actual sign of our having grown up - at whatever age. After that we name all things as we wish.
