"A Samurai Wife" is a story of love, jealously, loyalty and faith, set in sixteen century Japan. Otama, an intelligent heroine as beautiful as a full moon, struggles to convert to Christianity, but when she disappointed her husband, she decides to dependd on Jesus Christ. She strives to follow both her Christian beliefs and the command of her powerful samurai husband. She tries to be an honorable obedient wife while also keeping her strong faith. Before Otama's husband goes to war, he askes her one thing. It is very hard thing for him, but Otama calmly follows his wishes just as she follows her God, Jesus Christ, in order to keep her faith and to save her son. Is the outcome good or bad, only the time will tell. On July 17, 1600, Otama finally comes full circle and faces her final fate with faith intact. Fiction base on fact.
