Andi And Me Andrew Timm

Andi and Me is an intimate look at the life of one man who has lived the life of many. Look at Germany through the eyes of a child during World War II. Stay for tea with the owner of a crumbling castle in one of the oldest parts of Europe. Befriend a wandering man with no sense of direction bent on conquering the Australian Outback. Learn to sell just about anything, then sell the greatest prize of all: your heart. Then prove what it means to be a father; again, and again and again and again. Whether it's catching a whiff of the forest floor through the nose of a starry eyed youth, throwing up off the edge of a boat bound for the New World or facing off against the relentless bureaucracy which is the Australian city council system, Andi and Me takes you by the collar from the first page and doesn't let go. Part memoir, part scrapbook, part brutally honest do-it-yourself guide to the building industry; Andi and Me makes no grand promises; except to make space for you on a heck of an interesting ride. In the way that wonderful stories do, when you put the book down, it will make you want to open your eyes just a little bit wider, lest you miss a chapter in this great adventure called Life.
