A New Day Have you ever been to Scotland? At the dawning of a day The sky is black as mining coal, With stars to light the way. The sky is turning gray now, With a mist upon the ground It covers all the heather As it floats along the ground, Then slowly up the mountainside Like waves against the shore. When all is gone And you can see The breaking of the dawn, What a bonnie day it'll be.
