Stud and the BloodBlade

This outrageously fun and stunningly illustrated graphic novel views our morally ambiguous and increasingly violent world through the kaleidoscopic lens of 1980s action-adventure cartoons in order to explore contemporary topics such as toxic masculinity and nonbinary thinking, as well as timeless issues such as protecting a legacy and the limited benefits of punching someone in the face.
Welcome to Ouroboros, an uncanny world on the far side of a black hole, teetering between the far future and the primordial pastwhere aliens and barbarians, bigfoots and robots, monsters and puns wrestle for control of the Next Bang!
Mightiest of all is Stud, he of immense strength, insatiable appetite, and nonexistent impulse control! Stud fights for good, but his epic weapon, the BloodBlade, carries a terrible curse: if Stud doesnt slay enough monsters each day, the massive mix of sword and axe will transform him into a scared little weakling named Gary.
Stud and the BloodBlade plunges the classic squared-jawed hero into a world of graphic violence, sexual liberation, moral ambiguity, and poop. Saturday morning cartoons will never be the same.
