Jonah was sent to Nineveh, Assyria, to tell them of the pending destruction of their city because of their sinfulness. Nahum was sent back to Nineveha country of people he didnt knowto give them the same message Jonah had delivered a hundred years earlier. It is a story of forgetfulness of right actions and slipping back into disobedience. Obadiahs story is based on a rich history lesson of Esau and Jacob that makes clear the vision he had from God. He was sent to Edom with the same message as Jonah and Nahum delivered to Ninevehthe sinfulness and wickedness had to end.
