Mehrak Mehrak's father Iraj was a flower shop owner and her mother Shokouh an embroidery designer. . Iraj's successful business had put the emotional needs of his family in the background. So, in spite of the fact that the family was strongly united; everybody went their own way and pursued their own talents and interests. Shokouh, who is the guardian of love in the family, catches an incurable disease and passes away. At the threshold of the Iranian revolution, Mehrak gets an important job at the U. N. and leaves Iran. Iraj, after losing his wife and living far from his daughter, is sick and lonely in the hospital; he takes his pen to recount his success and his defeats and confides his writings to his doctor. ******** Hermin The jury asks Hermin to draw her grandmother. She drives a nail into the wall and hangs her chador on it. The jury does not react. The jury then asks her to draw her grandfather. Hermin draws a huge nose under which is a huge pipe. A great talent is born. Houshang her neighbor, a student in science, meets her in front of the university. Time passes, Hermin becomes an architect and Houshang a researcher. Their relationship is rich and grows deeper and finally turns into love, into co-sentimentalism. With more time, they meet six individuals from three continents that become their business partners. A strong friendship develops among them as their lives unfold in unexpected ways.
