The introduction of Technology Education into P-10 schools brought about significant educational change. Change that has implications for professional development, resourcing, the teaching/ learning process and the development of models for implementing new curriculum. This book examines a model for implementing technology education in primary schools in Queensland, Australia. It provides case studies based on the development of technological literacy. The research includes a teacher in-service package and student resource material teachers utilized to begin technology based teaching in their own classrooms. Teachers have used the implementation package and gained from understanding the models. The author has spoken at National and International conferences on technological literacy and its applicability to other classrooms where technology education is promoted.
