Kristina Sobko
Preschool children are gaining widespread computeraccess yet there is little known about how a child'spersonality affects his or her interest in computers. This book contains an academic empirical studywhich investigates the relationship betweentemperament and computer play patterns amongpreschool age children. The author went into 3preschools, set up a computer play center, and askedteachers to provide their observations about eachchild's computer play. Parents were asked tofill out questionnaires about their children'stemperament. Results indicate that there isinterplay between children's gender, personality, andcomputer play patterns. Results of the study arediscussed in light of the goodness of fit model". This book would be of interest to researchersinvestigating topics of computer play andpersonality."
