Text, Language, and Literature: Empirical and Theoretical Perspectives from Kenya

Perspectives adopted by individual contributers in this collection are empirical as well as theoretical. Aiming to offer a representative profile of approaches, the book is interactive with respect to Text, Language, and Literature; but mainly within the Kenyan context. In this edition, we hope to ignite fresh dialogue with a view to enriching on-going ones regarding topical areas that have often been subject of debate among Linguists, Philologists, and Literary scholars in Kenya and elsewhere in the world.
