Scientific Essay from the year 2013 in the subject History - Miscellaneous, grade: 2.5, , course: History of Science, language: Italian, abstract: This paper, written in Italian, wants to remember Mario Tchou, italian-chinese physicist and engineer who, at the request of Adriano Olivetti, he moved from New York to Barbacina (Pisa) to direct that group of pioneers who in 1955 gave birth to the Electronics Division Olivetti. The figure of Tchou, who died prematurely in 1961, represented a turning figure - unfortunately forgotten - in the post-war industrial Italy, a golden age that has seen our country a world leader and innovator in the electronics industry.
