X-band Low Noise Amplifier & Ultra Broad Band Wilkinson Power Divider: Designing & Fabrication

In Microwave communication the first stage of each microwave receiver has Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) circuit and this LNA stage of microwave receiver play an important rule in sensitivity of the receiver. The main function of LNA is to amplify very weak signals without adding noise and attenuation, saving the required Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) of the receiver at extremely weak levels. Wilkinson power divider is a three port network which consists of one input port and two output ports, where the output ports are simultaneously isolated and matched. It could be used and apply to balance amplifiers and high-power transmitters. There are two types of Wilkinson power divider, namely equal power divider and unequal power divider. In our project we will design and fabricate equal power divider, which divides an input signal into two equal phase output signals. Wilkinson Power divider will operate on broadband (2-18 GHz) regions respectively.
