This book provides an assessment of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives adopted by Hospitality Establishments (HEs) in supporting communities living adjacent to Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. The author assesses the paradox of many hospitality establishments that appreciate the importance of improving locals? well-being but do little, if any, to that effect. He evaluates the haphazard implementation process of CSR program that is characterized by superficial initiatives that do not address key socio-economic issues that affect the locals in Kerinkani and Oloirien group ranches in Transmara District. James Kamwea highlights the different CSR initiatives that HEs in the group ranches are involved in.
