Arthroscopy in Craniomandibular Articulation: a Review

Management of Craniomandibular articulation Dysfunctions (CMDs) has always been a great challenge to surgeon due to its complex biomechanics, posing difficulty in performing precise & detailed investigations. Surgery has currently embarked upon an era of ARTHROSCOPY. It has become an important method of diagnosis and treatment of CMDs and provide unique possibilities for research to elucidate the complicated etiopathogenesis of CMDs. This book guides the readers through all aspects of CMA arthroscopy beginning with history to its armamentarium, basic surgical procedures, associated complications & management with recent advances. Author intends to focus on understanding of current stage of the evolution of treatment philosophies as applied to the pathophysiology of the CMDs for successful outcome in patient management.
