We are changing the earth?s decor with plastic ornamentation, ignoring the fact that every development bears some Mal-development issues. World as well as the population of our country is increasing very hastily. The problem is not concerned with this fast growth rather the problem is the unexpected increasing demand of people. On other side, science and technology is the twin-brother and they are always extending their hands for serving the demand of people and the result is very perilous. Now-a-days our society is facing a heap of Solid Waste and environment is more polluted. We are civilized but our Solid Waste pollution is the occurrence of the uncivilized attribute towards our environment. This book will elaborate the Solid Waste challenges of India in recent and also prepared a model on 430 Environment-friends who are engaged to manoeuvre the solid wastes in Bolpur block of West Bengal, which will be a ROLE MODEL for waste management globally.
