The present study is a descriptive one and has been conducted in the Misungwi district of Mwanza region of Tanzania. The main purpose of the study is to find out the different in the attitude of secondary school teachers and students towards corporal punishment. For this study the investigator has taken 100 secondary school teachers and 100 secondary school students from two schools by using simple random technique. For correction of data the investigator has used two scales (one is for teachers and another one is for students) constructed and standardized by himself. For analysis and interpretation of the data used t-test . The main findings of the study show that both teachers and students have unfavorable attitude towards corporal punishment.
