Computational Interface for Maintenance Planning in Flour Mills Mohammed B.h.

Industrial plant maintenance planning and scheduling interface was developed for a Flour Mill in Ilorin, Nigeria to coordinate industrial work maintenance operations. Effectively planning for daily and future maintenance actions will help in achieving industries goals and objective in the most efficient and effective manner. It minimizes costs, reduces risk and increase the competitive edge of an organization. The program developed is simple with friendly look-up screens and appropriate interactive interface that aid the planning and scheduling of plant maintenance operations with a means of deducting used stocks from the inventory record. Thus, the risks of downtimes or operation stoppages resulting from shortage of consumables or parts are greatly reduced.
