Bullying of Irish and Filipino Nurses in a Dublin Hospital: a Study of the Experiences of Irish and Filipino Nurses Working in a Medium-sized Acute Hospital in Dublin

This research has identified work bullying as a major cause of stress to nurses. It affects victims both physically and psychologically. It shows a direct relationship between the incidents of workplace bullying and the nature of the organisational climate and the style of management that nurses experience. It shows that policies in place to deal with bullying and harassment are ineffective.
