Mobile phone proliferation in our societies is on the increase. With the advancement in new technologies, mobile phones are becoming smaller and smaller, enough to fit in a pocket thus making them become portable data carriers. This in turn increased the potential for data stored on mobile phone handsets to be used as evidence in civil or criminal cases. Therefore mobile forensic are becoming more and more useful in the society. The aim of the project is to develop a mobile phone forensic software for memory card so that it can recover useful data from the memory card and to analyze them. In this project a mobile phone forensic software for memory card had been developed which can recover JPG images, MP3 music and MPG video files from a memory card . The software also allowed these files to be analyzed and therefore generate report of the analysis. The software does have its own strengths and weaknesses. Future enhancements have been suggested so as to overcome its weaknesses and improve the software.
