Missing the Mark Bulelani Marwanqana

The book is about the little sins that we tend to overlook, and then affect us from reaching our full potential in life, or even miss heaven altogether. I call them "The little foxes that spoil the vine". To sin is to know that you are in trouble and still not listen. It is to replace humbleness with pride, having enough with greed, purity with lust, celebrating a person with envy, being full with gluttony, happiness with anger, and work with laziness. If Pharaoh did not listen to the wisdom of Joseph to gather up food and store up, surely the seven years of thin ears would have destroyed them to the grave with thirst and hunger: "And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good. And behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them. And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh woke up, and, behold, it was a dream." (Genesis 41:5-7).
