"Hypoglycemia: a deep approach to the problem" is a book that was born from the need to be able to provide scientific information based on articles and bibliographic reviews, as well as statistical data and testimonies collected in my clinical practice with diabetic patients, all with the objective that as health personnel we can address hypoglycemia more effectively and efficiently. The book touches on the main aspects of hypoglycemia in both type 1 and type 2 diabetic patients, treated with insulin or oral antidiabetics. Among these aspects are the definition, classification, pathophysiology, main triggers of hypoglycemia, treatment and prevention.
