Flesh Still Missing Kelly L Council

Some poets have a way of bringing us back into the middle of our own hearts. They pull us out from the clouds and bring us back into the reality of our own lives. We often forget these places or become too worldly to remember them. Kelly Lynn Council is such a poet. She makes me remember. She brings me back home. She touches my heart. These honest, passionate poems are full of love and depth. They reflect what poets feel and know and share. They make us young again."Frank Theodore KanelosPoet Laureate of Birmingham, Alabama1996-1998In her fourth book of poetry, author Kelly Council tackles topics like love and everything after. Poems touch upon finding passion, finding love, finding siblings, finding bonus children, finding nature, and finding adventure, along with losing family, losing friends, losing pets, losing love, and losing children. Written over the course of more than a decade, this book spans the events of a young lifetime. Flesh Still Missing is excellent poetry book for women, young and young at heart.
