It is not a secret that children have their own magic world that differs from our mundane reality. In this book the boy tells us his dream to be a monkey that can escape from routine and everyday responsibilities. The boy describes what he would do if he were a monkey and what kind of friends he would be surrounded by in the evergreen jungle. Only children can decide whether he is dreaming of a monkey or if he thinks about it when he does not want to do his homework.
