I felt like a ghost... like a dead spirit still walking the earth, and left behind. These were the thoughts flowing through my mind and tearing at my heart, as I stood on the pier staring out into a lake of open water. This was my comfort place beyond the woods, where I strayed away from the world, and hid away from the life that I once knew. Pretty dark right?
