Jason The Super Grey Squirrel is the story of a rescued squirrel who loses one of his arms. Although Jason has this disability he lives his life to the full and the story is about living with a disability and making the best of the life that we are all given. The story revolves around Jason and the loss of his arm and Peter, a young boy in a wheelchair, who learn to help each other through their differences. It is also the story of how Paul and Ania Allum came to set up Hitchin Squirrel Rescue, a charity that rescues squirrels. Their first four resident squirrels are the ones in the story, Jason, Ruben, Ronnie and Reggie.
