The Herdsman of Wolves

Lucy Wayne is a young shepherdess. Her family is poor, so she is engaged to Daniel Cornfield - a son of a wealthy family. By building ties with the Cornfields, Mr. Wayne - Lucy's father - hopes to gain profits for the entire household. However, not everything goes smoothly for the Waynes. One day, wolves attack Lucy's flock of 6 sheep. They kill both a sheep and a dog - a tremendous loss for the poor Wayne family. Lucy is afraid to face her parents, so she wanders into a forest to have some alone time. There, she gets attacked by a pack of strange wolves that have rings on ears. They bite her on a leg and the frightened maiden loses consciousness. When Lucy wakes up, she realises she has wound up in the hands of the herdsman of wolves - a savage young man brought up by a wolf pack.---The book was written in Georgian and translated to English by the 16-year-old author.---The cover picture belongs to a young Australian photographer Tiegan Brown. It is further edited by the author.
