The wrong man or woman will not make a good marriage. Thirdly, God's ideal and standard of marriage is found in the form of marriage. It states that God's standard requires a theocratic marriage. God assigns the husband as the head of the family with his wife as his assistant. If this formula is reversed, marriage will be in trouble. Fourthly, God's ideal and standard of marriage is also seen through the purpose of marriage. Sex in marriage is not for business but for human procreation. Finally, the essence of marriage requires human marriage must be patterned after the marriage of Christ, the husband, and the Church, His wife in order to be successful.
