The author lived on the lakeshore for many years during which time he raised a family, practiced medicine and became enamored with the lake and its history. During the epic drought of 2000 he discovered Archaic Indian relics and the wreckage of a military airplane, which motivated him to write this historical fiction novel. The stories of three characters from widely separate epochs create a compelling exposition of the world beyond our five senses.
